When I’m not working, carrying out mummy duties or trying to keep fit, I’m planning our next family trip. I research every last detail and challenge myself with affordable budgets without compromising on quality and experiences.
 

I want to share my travel tips, advice and itineraries to help inspire families to do the same.

There are so many amazing places to visit and we only get one lifetime to do it in, so what’s stopping you?

 

Meet my family

I share my love for travel with my husband and two daughters…

 

My husband – easy going, laid back and caught the travel bug off me. He’s happy to go anywhere and do anything as long as he doesn’t have to plan, organise or book it – thats where I come in.

Our eldest – is 6 going on 16. She’s a happy confident girl who loves telling stories, so travelling gives her plenty to talk about. She loves creating holiday countdowns and her favourite question is “How many sleeps until we go…”?

Our youngest – is 2 and a bold, comical little character. She’s happiest when she’s out exploring new places.

 

Already ticking some amazing travel experiences off our list, we’ve…

  • climbed mountains in Thailand and skied down snowy slopes in Poland
  • slept in both cabins on overnight trains and cabins on cruise ships
  • descended salt mines, 135 metres underground and admired views from the top of the world's tallest building at 828 metres high

Exploring the world and creating memories

I started this blog because I love writing about our family adventures…

 

As a well travelled child, my happiest and most treasured memories are of family holidays with my mum, dad and sisters. Since losing my mum (my best friend, role model and the kindest woman I’ve known), I’d love nothing more than to be able to read back on such happy times.

I’ve always been passionate about travelling but having kids makes it more special and I want to show them the amazing world that we live in. I love exploring new places and experiencing different cultures, creating wonderful family memories as we go.

In years to come, we can look back at our blog and relive those memories.
