Thinking of signing up for a Kids Pass membership? Not sure how much you will actually save on family days out? Wondering whether it will be worthwhile?
These are the questions that I asked before signing up.
As a new Kids Pass member (and someone slightly obsessed with saving costs), I wanted to know exactly how much I could save on different family days out. So, I decided to review the savings to be had by doing a little price comparison exercise!
For my Kids Pass review, I chose a number of top family days out across the UK and compared the ticket price when booking direct through the attraction website against the exact same ticket through Kids Pass.
Hopefully, this information will help you decide whether signing up for Kids Pass is worthwhile and exactly how much you are likely to save on your favourite family days out.
If you have a particular day out in mind, you might want to consider what other offers are available such as 2 for 1 etc. Then you can decide which offer works out the best.
Please note, prices are accurate at the time of writing based on both the attraction website and Kids Pass membership site. Prices may change but the information should still give you an indication of the savings you can make.
All prices are based on visit dates during the school summer holidays and our family members (2 adults and 2 children aged 6 and 3 years old).
Before I jump straight into the price comparison and savings, you’ll want to know how much a Kids Pass membership is. This way you’ll be able to quickly work out the difference between your membership fee and the savings you can make.
For us, we made our money back straight away plus an additional saving just on one day out.
Kids Pass are currently offering a 30 day trial for just £1.
You only need to buy 1 Kids Pass membership and this will cover the whole family. That’s £1 for 30 days full access to 1000’s of discounts on offer.

If you love the savings you have made after your 30 day trial, you can continue with a monthly membership for £7.50 per month, which you can choose to cancel at any time. Or you can choose an annual subscription for £39.99.
We saved the annual subscription cost plus an additional £26.51 from 1 visit to West Midlands Safari Park alone!
Here are the selection of family days out and the price comparison between buying direct from the attraction website and buying through Kids Pass.

Total Kids Pass Saving at Blackpool Pleasure Beach
For this Kids Pass review, I’ve listed a total of 10 family days out and found that Kids Pass offered savings of between 15% and 47%, compared to booking directly online.
For our family of 4, we would save a total of £247.15 across all 10. That’s an average of nearly £25 per family day out.
Based on the savings I found, this really could be the best £1 you will spend!
Even the annual subscription at £39.99 is well worth the money, giving you 1000’s of family-friendly offers to use during school holidays and weekends.
There’s also lots of discounts on cinema tickets and restaurant deals.
Signing up is really simple and within minutes you have all of the Kids Pass offers in the palm of your hand with the free Kids Pass App.
You can also access via the website but I find the Kids Pass App so user friendly and simple to use.
I’ve also found the customer service to be really good. We wanted to confirm whether the West Midlands Safari Park tickets included unlimited access to the theme park rides, so we emailed them. They emailed back within a few hours to confirm this was included.
We purchased the tickets and they came the following day.
Kids Pass Review Summary...
For a monthly subscription at £7.50 per month, you’re likely to make your money back on just 1 family day out per month.
And for the annual subscription of £39.99, you should easily make your money back after two family days out during the year.
But the £1 trial is just too good an offer not to take up!
